We process account email addresses, authentication and 2FA data, RFQ titles and content, refinement answers, attachments, search results, shortlists, supplier contact details, tokenized opportunity links, quotation responses, buyer decisions, feedback, support requests, activity logs, and payment metadata.
How we use data
We use data to operate search, RFQ refinement, admin verification, supplier outreach, payment unlocks, quotation submission, quotation review, buyer comparison, notifications, anti-abuse checks, support, security, and audit logs.
Supplier outreach and opt-out
Supplier contacts may receive opportunity emails when QuoteMatch identifies a relevant RFQ match. Supplier emails explain why the supplier received the message and include opt-out controls. Opted-out supplier emails are skipped for future opportunity outreach.
Payments
Supplier payments are handled by Stripe. QuoteMatch stores Stripe session, invoice, payment intent, amount, currency, payment status, and invoice link metadata needed to unlock access and support billing questions.
Visibility between parties
Suppliers see a limited opportunity preview before payment. Full RFQ details are available after payment. Buyer contact details stay hidden until the buyer accepts a supplier quotation. Admins can access RFQ and quotation data to verify and support the workflow.
Retention and audit history
QuoteMatch stores RFQ history, supplier tokens, quotation records, attachments, buyer decisions, feedback, notifications, and activity logs so buyers, admins, and suppliers can track the process and resolve support questions.
Choices and requests
Buyers and admins can use account controls for email change and 2FA. Suppliers can opt out from supplier opportunity emails. Support can help with privacy, RFQ, payment, or notification questions.
Security
QuoteMatch uses tokenized supplier links, authenticated buyer and admin access, CSRF protection on supported actions, and admin review gates. Users should keep token links and account access secure.
